EDISON de PAULA
Aloha! My name is Edison de Paula, I am the head surf instructor and founder of Surf Hawaii - Surf School and www.SurfHawaii4u.com. My specialty is offering North Shore surf lessons! I have been in Hawaii for over 20 years. During these years, I have dedicated my time to big wave surfing, life guarding on the North Shore, and going to school at BYU Hawaii. After getting my degree in Information Systems, I decided to share my passion for the sport by teaching other people how to surf. Today, my main focus is to share my surfing techniques with my students at Surf Hawaii - Surf School and also riding big waves. I enjoy training all year-round to be prepared for the Winter swells. My favorites surf spots are Peahi and Teahupoo.
After all of these years, I still thank God every day for living in paradise and doing what I do. Surfing has changed my life, and I would love to have the opportunity to share that gift with you.
Accomplishments as follows:
* Mans division - 1st or 2nd, who cares! place in the Sunset - Waimea paddleboard race in 1999;
* 4th place in the First Annual Peahi(Maui) Tow in Surf Contest, with his partner Romeo Bruno, in 2000;
* 4th place in the Second Annual Phelony North Shore Tow in Surf Championship, with partner Joao Jabour, in 2006 at Pua'ena Point.

Kelvin Pascua is the personified spirit of Aloha. Born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, Kelvin cherish's the Hawaiian culture and knows the region like the palm of his hand. For almost 40 years, Kelvin has dedicated his life to the ocean, and when he is not surfing or teaching other people how to surf, he is diving, paddling and training for his other passion, paddle board races.
Kelvin is a wonderful teacher, who loves sharing what he knows with other people. Along with the big smile that has become his trademark, Kelvin is always friendly and eager to help.
Kailani Jabour grew up right on the beach here on the North Shore, and at a very young age he was already showing amazing surfing skills. Traveling the world with his dad, who is also a big wave surfer, Kailani has surfed some of the best waves in the world and on his last trip to Tahiti, Kailani has already started doing some tow-in surfing on some incredible waves.
Another passion of Kailani is flying, and he is currently enrolled in flight school.
As a surf instructor, Kailani has fun meeting new people and making new friends. His biggest concern is making sure that his students are not only having a good time, but are also educated and informed about surfing techniques so they can soon go out and surf on their own.
