Experience world-class surf instruction and outdoor adventures on the legendary North Shore of Oahu. All that while enjoying the Historic Haleiwa surf town, in stylish accommodations in the most authentic Hawaiian spirit.
Based in a tropical, peaceful, and secluded family home just a short walk from Haleiwa town, our surf camp provides daily surf lessons, outdoor activities and great restaurants for you to enjoy delicious meals. Mingle with the North Shore locals and enjoy the international surf scene in this legendary surf mecca. Come alone, with friends or your loved one, and be ready to get stoked!Surfing
Thanks to the North Shore's diverse range of surf breaks, which offer from perfect little waves to powerful big barrels, our surf camps are open to surfers of all skill levels. Surf Hawaii - Surf School's expert team is formed of certified lifeguards and world-class big wave surfers who are experienced in coaching first-timers to more advanced surfers with North Shore surf lessons
In addition to enjoying the surf in the local breaks, you'll also visit all the North Shore beaches that make up the history of Hawaiian surf, such as Pipeline, Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay.
Beginner surfers will be taught everything they need to know to catch their first waves, and also to gain the confidence and knowledge to continue surfing after the camp is over.
Intermediate and experienced surfers will learn more advanced techniques to be more confident and aggressive and take their surfing to the next level.
All levels will also receive instruction on reading surf reports, which is essential in planning your next surf trip.Activities
At Surf Hawaii - Surf School, we want to show you what the surfer lifestyle is all about! Being in contact with nature, training hard and keeping your body and mind in balance. We, at Surf Hawaii - Surf School, want to get you in touch with yourself and with Mother Nature.
Other activities are also available upon request: whale watching, horseback riding, hiking, and a visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center are options.Accommodations
Surf Hawaii - Surf School's surf camp takes place on a secluded and tropical Hawaiian style property with a view of the water. Enjoy fresh fruit from the yard, including apple bananas, mangoes, avocados, limes, guavas, mountain apples, and jack fruit, while watching stand-up paddlers and sea turtles. Stylish beachfront homes are also available for an extra fee in the countryside of Oahu, located only 15 minutes from Haleiwa downtown. Wake up to the sounds of the ocean, relax on the deck while watching the whales and the waves. Get ready to surf, explore the island and enjoy the Spirit of Aloha.
Surf Hawaii - Surf School's camp house, cottage, and studios accommodate groups of 1 to 15 students, in private or shared rooms. The camp house and cottage have fully equipped kitchens, while the studios each have their own bathroom and kitchenette. You can enjoy the tropical breezes on the outside lanais and in the gardens, and if the weather gets too chilly, you can soak in the hot tub to relax those tired muscles. Wireless internet is available, of course, (how else could we check the surf forecast?) and surfing DVDs are available on request to inspire you for the next lesson.Itinerary

Do I need to rent a car for my stay at the Surf Camp?
Why not! If you would like to get to know this beautiful island you should! WHY NOT EXPLORE THE WHOLE ISLAND?!
You will enjoy perfect surf with or without a car. We are located in Haleiwa, on the island of Oahu, about 45 minutes from the Honolulu airport.
To accommodate your flight schedule, we are flexible with the start and end dates for the camp. You don’t have to start on Sunday if it is inconvenient for you. We will try to match your reservation dates with other students. However, if you are the only one signed up for a particular week, we will still hold the camp for you. The bad news is you won’t have other campers to socialize with – the good news is that you’ll have private lessons for no additional fee! Please let us know if you prefer to join others at the camp, so we can schedule accordingly.
We suggest you consider renting a car so you can have more freedom to explore.
Not Included in our Surf Camp Packages:
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
However, the surf camp accommodations include kitchenettes and it is only a 5 minute walk into Haleiwa town where there are several restaurants, markets, shops and art galleries.
